Jane Hafren – “I would recommend any woman to say ‘yes’ to this experience!”

Jane Hafren - The Sustainability Coach

We all know that stories can serve to inspire and motivate people to action.  Ola Agbaimoni asks female entrepreneurs to tell their stories to encourage other women to fulfil their own dreams through business.  And if that seems scary, her website Tycoon Women and the coaching she offers there enable women to change their relationship with money – so that making money work for you seems possible and doable.

When Ola asked me to be a guest on her radio show, on Playvybz.com I was both excited and incredibly nervous.  ‘Pick 7 tracks of music that mean a lot to you and that correspond to turning points or decision points in your life’ – to inspire other people.  Boy oh boy!

I’m used to standing up on stages and delivering training courses, in fact I love doing it… and I deliver a lot of content in training through stories and metaphors.

I also coach people in business how to grow 7 Figure Businesses.  What is it you have to do if you’re going to add an extra zero or two to your bottom line?  There’s a lot to learn and I love holding people’s hands as they move forward towards their business goals.  And I’ve been known to use stories to enable that process, too.

But telling stories that are so personal to me, on the radio, for other people to listen to?  Oooh! Scary… especially as I have been a life-long listener to Desert Island Discs, the gold standard for that type of show.

Choosing the records too – 7 out of all the songs that have ever inspired me, healed me, made me want to dance – you’re kidding right?  Just 7?!!!

But Ola held my hand, gave a me great instructions and fabulous support – just as she does for her Tycoon Women coaching clients.  And the basic questions Ola was going to ask me were available beforehand.  There were a few supplementary questions  but they were easy to answer once I was in my flow.

Being on Ola’s show was such an enjoyable experience.  It really made me think about the music I wanted to choose and also about the pivotal moments in my life and career when things have changed and the way forward becomes clear and so much easier to follow.

Thank you Ola for such a wonderful time.  I would recommend any woman to say ‘yes’ to this experience, for your own learning and for the people you’re in the world to inspire.
